Telavi Valley – Mtsvane
Mtsvane is one of Georgia’s most exciting and unique white grapes. Its name actually means green, and refers to the unusual green colour of its fruit when ripe. The wine is pale golden with an inviting nose with hints of apple blossom and acacia. It’s dry, but full and weighty to taste with notes of poached pear and honey, and a lingering crisp finish. A good partner to roast chicken or pork, or creamy pasta dishes.
